Rust affects bluegrasses and ryegrasses, and Bermuda, zoysia, and St. Augustine grasses. Rust-colored blisters on leaves cause plants to wither and die. When the blisters burst, the spores spread. Mow your lawn weekly and catch and destroy grass clippings. Be sure to maintain adequate fertility.
