  4. No plant is easier to grow or better suited for a hanging basket than wandering Jew.  Grown for its colorful foliage, the plant occasionally blooms.

  7. Place in high to medium (bright indirect) light, depending on desired coloration.  Full sun may turn plants of some varieties pure green.

  10. Keep evenly moist.  Mist daily.  Raise humidity.  Avoid sogginess, which causes root rot.

  13. Maintain average temperatures.  Tolerates high and low.  Avoid cold drafts.

Place where branches can dangle freely.  Use porous soil.  Feed every 14 days with dilute solution during active growth.  Do not overfeed; can cause leaves to pale.  Stop feeding from fall to midwinter.  Prune ruthlessly to encourage branching and maintain attractive shape.  If colored foliage turns green, pinch off green growth and move into lower light.  Wash foliage monthly.  Propagate by tip cuttings.
