A trailing plant that's not even an ivy, Swedish ivy produces long, squarish stems covered with scalloped, waxy leaves. It grows fast and is easy to take care of. Looks good in a hanging basket.
Light
Place in high light (southern exposure) during winter and medium (bright indirect) light rest of year. Tolerates low light. Grows well if under artificial light 14 hours per day.
Water
Allow soil surface to dry out between thorough waterings. Mist frequently.
Temperature
Maintain average temperatures. Prefers temperatures into low 50s at night.
Comments
Feed every 14 days with mild solution from April through August. Pinch back ruthlessly to create a compact and bushy appearance. Propagate by seed in spring or tip cuttings anytime. Cuttings root easily in water.
