Dandruff-like insects that congregate on the undersides of leaves or in clouds around stirred plants. Kill with malathion or organic sprays. Be sure to repeat applications because colonies have insects at different stages of growth. Insecticides are not equally effective against all growth stages. Wash you hands after handling infested plants to keep from spreading invisible eggs.
