Viruses produce mottled, streaked, or spotted foliage and stunted growth in houseplants. You'll also find sunken areas on the stems. Destroy these plants because no cure exists. If you don't destroy the plants, they'll spread disease to other plants. Don't propagate because the viruses can be transferred to new plants.
