  4. Pepper plants bear pretty blooms that develop into colorful fruits, many of which are edible as well as ornamental.  Plants usually last only a year.

  7. Place in high light (southern exposure) indoors.  Place outside in full sun in summer.

  10. Keep soil evenly moist.  Mist daily.  Raise humidity.

  13. Maintain cool temperatures (at least in low 60s at night) for best growth.  Tolerates average temperatures.

  16. Plant in permanent pot from start.  Feed only as needed for leaf color and fruit formation.  Pinch or prune for desired shape.  Remove fruit as needed.  Propagate each year by seed.
