Lantana is versatile and free flowering. Its clusters of vibrantly colored flowers may last for several months. Display lantana in a hanging basket or train it into tree form for a stunning accent plant.
Light
Place in high light (southern exposure) year-round for best flowering.
Water
Allow soil surface to dry out between thorough waterings. Mist daily.
Temperature
Maintain average temperatures, with drop of 10 degrees at night.
Comments
Fertilize weekly with mild solution during active growth. Cut back older plant to spur new growth. To train into standard (tree form), select and attach straight stem to stake. Remove lower leaves as plant matures. When plant reaches desired height, pinch growing tips. Top will form compact bush. Propagate by seed or tip cuttings. You can propagate anytime, but for best results, do so in September or February.
