Somewhat tricky to grow, lady's-slipper produces pouch-like blossoms once a year. Flowers last for months in good conditions.
Light
Place in high light in winter and medium (bright indirect) light the rest of the year. Eastern exposure is best.
Water
Keep growing medium constantly moist and humidity high. Don't let plant go dry.
Temperature
Maintain average temperatures. Drop temperatures by 10 degrees at night.
Comments
Use orchid potting mix and shallow pot. Repot yearly to change medium. Feed every 14 days in spring and summer, and monthly in fall and winter. Propagate by division or seed.
