Jade plant looks like a miniature tree with thick, fleshy leaves. Under ideal conditions, old plants produce fragrant, star-shaped blossoms.
Light
Place in high light (southern exposure) during winter and medium (bright indirect) light rest of year. If you provide full sun at times other than winter, leaves will pale.
Water
Let soil dry out between thorough waterings. Soggy soil causes rot.
Temperature
Maintain high temperatures for best growth. Tolerates average and below-average temperatures.
Comments
Feed every 14 days during active growth. Plant in sandy soil for best results. Clean leaves monthly with damp cloth. Pinch off growing tips for branching and compact growth. Keep older plants pot-bound to stimulate flowering. Propagate by stem or leaf cuttings, or seed.
