Comments
Anemones are grown from tubers --not true bulbs-- but react in the same manner. They are not winter-hardy north of Zone 6. In Zone 6 and north, the relatives of the Grecian windflower such as anemone De Caen and anemone St. Brigid are not hardy and must be dug every fall and replanted every spring. These two anemones have large, poppylike flowers in bright shades of red, blue, violet, or purple.
