Agapanthus is popular grown in tubs or mixed with other plants. You'll get a burst of midsummer color in sun or light shade. The flowers reach 20 inches tall.
Comments
Agapanthuses need lots of water. Fertilize once a month. If the ground doesn't freeze in your area, they can be left in the ground year-round. In cold areas, lift them in the fall, and store in a cool, dry place. If they're grown in a tub, withhold water as frost approaches, let them dry out, and store in the tub in a cool, dry place until spring rolls around.
