Also called vervain
(Verbena)
Flat clusters of small flowers 2 to 3 inches wide on plants 6 to 10 inches high but spreading up to 2 feed wide. Many bicolor with white centers.
Soil and Light
Full sun. Rich, well-drained soil, kept moist. Heat resistant.
Planting
Sow seeds 10 to 12 weeks early inside, or buy transplants.
Comments
Use as fragrant ground cover or edging and in window boxes or rock gardens. In warm climates, will act as perennials.
