Rudbeckia
Also called gloriosa daisy
(Rudbeckia sp.)
Large, single, daisy-like flowers on stalks 18 to 24 inches tall. Flowers have brown centers with yellow, orange, or bronze petals.
Soil and Light
Full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. Well-drained soil.
Planting
Sow seed in late fall or early spring outdoors. Plants often self-sow.
Comments
Trim back flowers to encourage new growth. Cut flowers for fresh arrangements.
