Double, 3- to 5-inch blossoms on plants 2 to 3 feet tall. Foliage is finely cut - often with a pungent scent. Dwarf varieties have single or double blossoms, 1 to 2 inches across. Cream, yellows, and reds.

Full sun. Almost any rich, well-drained soil.
Planting
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost date or outdoors after frost danger. Or buy transplants.
Comments
Use dwarf varieties in borders, edges, or tubs. Mix tall varieties with other flowers or plant in mass.
