Hyacinth-shaped, white flowers on 10- 15-inch spikes. A globe-shaped variety available in both dwarf and taller forms. Globes come in a variety of colors. Varieties: Umbellata Dwarf Fairy, Hyacinth Flowered Iceberg.

Full sun. Some shade in hot climates. Almost any loose soil.
Planting
Sow as soon as ground can be worked. Sow seed every 2 weeks for constant bloom. Sow in fall in mild areas for winter color.
Comments
After first flush of bloom, trim plants back to stimulate flowering. Grow for early cut flowers. Hyacinth-shaped flowers are heavily perfumed.
