  6. using the enclosed Software.  By using the enclosed software, you

  9. Software Values International, Inc. grants you a non-exclusive, non-
  10. transferable license to (a) use the Software on a single computer, 
  11. (b) physically transfer the Software from one computer to another 
  12. computer; (c) make one copy of the Software for backup purposes.  
  13. You must place the same copyright information on the backup copy.  
  14. You may not electronically transfer the Software from one computer 
  15. to another over a modem, through a network, or through satellite 
  16. or radio broadcasting.  You may not transfer, sell, assign, rent, 
  17. lease or otherwise distribute copies of the Software or documentation 
  18. to others.

  29. other proprietary information belonging to Software Values 
  30. International, Inc. and/or its suppliers. You agree to hold the 
  31. Software in confidence and to take reasonable steps to prevent 
  32. disclosure to others.

  38. Except as stated above, this agreement does not grant you any rights
  39. to patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trade names, trademarks

  41. license with respect to the Software and documentation.  Software 
  42. Values International, Inc. reserves all rights not explicitly 
  43. granted in this license agreement.

  47. NO REVERSE COMPILATION

  49. You may not modify, translate, disassemble, reverse engineer or  
  50. decompile the Software or any copy, in whole or in part.

  56. The license granted under this agreement is effective until terminated.
  57. You may terminate the license at any time by destroying the Software
  58. and documentation in your possession or subject to your control
  59. together with all copies or modifications in any form.  Software 
  60. Values International, Inc. may terminated your license immediately 
  61. if you fail to comply with any term or condition of this agreement.  
  62. You agree that upon any such termination you will destroy the Software 
  63. and documentation in your possession or subject to your control 
  64. together with all copies or modifications in any form.

  68. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

  70. Warranty Disclaimer:  Although we have tested the Software, neither
  71. Software Values International, Inc. nor anyone else involved in 
  72. the creation, production, delivery, or licensing of the software 
  73. or documentation make any warranty or representation of any kind, 
  74. express or implied with respect to the Software or documentation, 
  75. or its quality, reliability, title or performance, or its 
  76. merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose or application.  
  77. As a result, the Software and documentation is licensed "as is", 
  78. and you, the licensee, are assuming the entire risk as to their 
  79. quality and performance, you, and not Software Values International, 
  80. Inc. assume the entire cost of all necessary services or repairs.

  90. licensing of the Software or documentation has been advised of 
  91. the possibility of such defects.  In particular Software Values 
  92. International, Inc. will have no liability for any hardware, 
  93. software, or data stored or used with the Software, including the 
  94. costs of repairing, replacing or recovering such hardware, software, 
  95. or data.

  97. The purchase price of this CD covers only the compilation, 
  98. manufacturing, and distribution costs.  Your purchase price does 
  99. not necessarily include registration nor the rights to use the 
  100. programs and images.  It's the licensee's responsibility to register 
  101. with the original shareware authors or their agents.

  107. Some of the programs on this disc are Shareware-- a method of software
  108. distribution that allows you the consumer to try the software before
  109. paying for it.  By "paying" or registering the software with the 
  110. shareware author you may get additional updates, features and 
  111. technical support.  If you like the programs, please register with
  112. the shareware authors.

  115. CD series and is NOT shareware.  You purchase price includes a license
  116. for using the Maple CD Director on one single computer.
