  1. WINDOWS 95 MIGRATION PLANNING KIT CD-ROM

  3. Welcome to the Windows 95 Migration Planning Kit CD-ROM.  The 
  4. Migration Planning Kit CD-ROM contains tools and information to help you
  5. in preparing your organization for the migration to Windows 95.  Please
  6. read all of the readme documents in the folders and sub-folders for details
  7. on their individual contents.

  9. The following is an overview of what's included on this CD-ROM:

  11. DEPLOY95 -  Contains tools and information to help you analyze 
  12. and plan for the migration to Windows 95.  There are 2 different groups
  13. of tools in the Deploy95 Folder; a set of business analysis tools, 
  14. and a set of technical tools.  See the README.TXT in this folder for 
  15. details on each sub-folder information.

  17. INTRO95 -  Contains an electronic version of the "Introducing Windows 95"
  18. guide.  This 90 page guide provides a basic overview of Windows 95 from an
  19. end users perspective.  Use it to help your end users get up and running 
  20. during a pilot deployment test.

  22. REV95 -Contains an electronic version of the "Feature Review" guide.  This 
  23. 350 page guide provides a complete features overview for Windows 95.  
  24. Microsoft Press offers a printed version of this guide under the title 
  25. "Introducing Microsoft Windows 95", ISBN 1-55615-860-2, call (800) MS-PRESS 
  26. to order a copy.

  28. VIEWER95 - Contains a complimentary copy of the Microsoft Word Viewer.  
  29. This tools allows you to open and print all of the Word based documents 
  30. within this kit.  Please read the installation instructions for set-up, 
  31. and the license for distribution and use, and the readme for basic 
  32. operation instruction.

  37. The documents included with the Windows 95 Migration Planning Kit were 
  38. created using Microsoft Word.  You may view and print these documents 
  39. using any Word compatible word processing software.  If you do not have 
  40. a copy of Word or a compatible word processor you can review and print 
  41. these documents using the complimentary Word viewer provided in the 
  42. Viewer95 folder.  Please read the license associated with the Viewer 
  43. when using.
