  9. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  10. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  11. agreement signed by Phoenix Business Enterprises, Inc. your use of this
  12. software by you indicates your acceptance of this license agreement
  13. and warranty.

  15. Shareware Version

  17. Evaluation and Registration
  18.  
  19. This is not free software.  You are hereby licensed to use this
  20. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 30
  21. days.  If you use this software after the 30 day evaluation period
  22. a registration fee of $42 is required.  Payments must be in US
  23. dollars drawn on a US bank, and should be sent to Phoenix Business 
  24. Enterprises.  Credit card ordering and quantity discounts are 
  25. available, as described in the section Ordering Information. 
  26. Upon purchase user is EMailed a reg code which will completely 
  27. unlock program. No disks are needed (or will be) Mailed.  If 
  28. you need disks, it is an extra $5.00, and this is a SEPERATE fee,
  29. payable via US mail to Phoenix Business Enterprises.

  31. Unregistered use of SlipStream Jet after the 30-day evaluation period 
  32. is in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

  34. Distribution

  36. Provided that you verify that you are distributing the Shareware
  37. Version (select About from the SlipStream Help menu to check) you are
  38. hereby licensed to make as many copies of the Shareware version of
  39. this software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies of
  40. the original Shareware version to anyone; and distribute the
  41. Shareware version of the software and documentation in its
  42. unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no charge for any
  43. of the above.

  45. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  46. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
  47. distributing the software and/or documentation with other products
  48. (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission, with
  49. one exception:  Disk Vendors approved by the Association of
  50. Shareware Professionals are permitted to redistribute SlipStream
  51. Jet, subject to the conditions in this license, without specific
  52. written permission.

  54. Registered Version

  56. One registered copy of SlipStream Jet may either be used by a single
  57. person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
  58. or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
  59. multiple people, but not both.

  61. You may access the registered version of SlipStream Jet through a 
  62. network, provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the
  63. software covering all workstations that will access the software
  64. through the network.  For instance, if 8 different workstations
  65. will access SlipStream Jet on the network, each workstation must 
  66. have its own SlipStream license, regardless of whether they use 
  67. SlipStream Jet at different times or concurrently.

  71. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of
  72. Pennsylvania.

  74. Disclaimer of Warranty
  75.  
  76. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  77. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  78. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  In particular,
  79. there is no warranty for the operation of your Qwk Reader.  
  80. Because of the various hardware and software environments into 
  81. which SlipStream Jet may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A 
  82. PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

  84. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  85. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  86. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  87. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  88. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.
