  12.              ANSWER: There were three ways you could have found the
  13.                      answer:

  15.                      1. Doing an Archie search with the keyword "txt"
  16.                      2. Doing a Veronica search with the keyword "txt"
  17.                      3. Accesing a random ftp site and looking around for
  18.                      a "txt" file
  19.  
  20.              I hope you chose the first option :) BTW, I did not list
  21.              the answer because there are THOUSANDS of correct answers.

  24.      2. Rick Gates has a monthly competition called "The Internet Hunt."
  25.         The Hunt asks ten of the most contrived questions you have ever
  26.         seen, and the Hunt's participants have to find the answers using
  27.         nothing but the Internet (and they also have to show where they
  28.         found the answers).

  30.         Come to think of it, the Internet Hunt is a lot like this pop
  31.         quiz ... hmmmm ....

  33.         I have heard that Rick places the Hunt results on the CICNET Gopher
  34.         server (gopher.cic.net) in Michigan (U.S.)

  51.      3. I just tried a Veronica search and I got an "Empty Menu" error
  52.         for a file that I *KNOW* exists. I should call my local Internet
  53.         service provider and complain, right? Explain your answer :)

  56.              ANSWER: NO! Your local Internet service provider is only
  57.                      responsible for the LOCAL part of your service. If
  58.                      you are having a problem accessing a distant file,
  59.                      there is a really good chance that the problem is
  60.                      at the distant site.

  62.                      Your provider has no control over distant sites, so
  63.                      calling them will not help you at all. Your best bet
  64.                      is to try your search later.
