  1. This is part of the Installation instructions, extracted from the help
  2. file.  For full help, run the file "cfinger.hlp".  If you have a word
  3. processor, you can also read the file "readme.rtf", which is just a
  4. copy of the help file.

  6. You'll need to download vbrun300.dll if you don't already have it.

  10. Installation

  12. 1.  Place cfinger.exe and cfinger.hlp files in a
  13. directory of your choice.
  14.  
  15. 2.  Create an icon in the Program Manager (or whatever shell you
  16. use) to the cfinger.exe file.
  17.  
  18. 3.  Move *.vbx, *.lic, and *.dll files to your windows\system
  19. directory.  Its possible that you may already have the *.vbx or
  20. *.dll files in your windows\system directory, in which case you
  21. will only want to replace the files if you have older versions
  22. of the files.  If you already have a *.lic file in your
  23. windows\system directory, there's no need to replace your copy
  24. with my copy.

  26. That should be all.  If you have any trouble, be sure that
  27. vbrun300.dll is in your windows\system directory, and be sure
  28. that your Winsock 1.1 compliant TCP/IP stack is installed and
  29. running.
