  5. This diskette contains a demo version of News for Windows NT
  6. (also runs under Windows 95). It has currently been tested on
  7. Windows NT 3.5 and Windows 95 Beta 2. This software will not
  8. run properly under Win32s.

  10. This release may be freely copied and distributed world-wide.
  11. If you do reproduce or distribute this material, all the files
  12. included on this disk must be reproduced in their original form.

  22. INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION
  23.  
  24. There is no installation procedure for this software. Simply
  25. execute the .EXE file which matches your processor architecture.
  26.  
  27. By default, News will keep all the configuration information in
  28. the Registery database. If you want to use an external  .newsrc
  29. file to store information about your subscribed newsgroups, select
  30. "Tools->Options->General" and change the settings. Make sure to make
  31. a backup copy of your existing .newsrc file before doing this!
  32.  
  33. Before posting articles, you need to set up templates for
  34. creating new articles. Select "Tools->Options->Templates" and
  35. enter your templates.
