  61. 2. INSTALLATION
  62.    ------------

  64.   To install, just run the Setup program by clicking on the setup.exe
  65.   icon in the Windows Explorer.
  66.  
  67.   The screen saver file will be installed into the Windows directory
  68.   (i.e., c:\windows\).
  69.  
  70.   Once the installation is complete, the Setup program will take you
  71.   into the Display properties dialog box.  Once there, please select
  72.   "TPCN Quotations" as the screen saver.

  76.   NOTE : If the installation program did not take you to the Display
  77.          dialog box after a successful install, then you may do so
  78.          manually by :

  80.            1. Right click anywhere on the desktop and select
  81.               Properties
  82.

  85.            2. Go to the Control Panel and double click on the Display
  86.               icon.
  87.  
  88.          Go the the Screen Saver tab and select "TPCN Quotations" as
  89.          the screen saver.

  92. 3. CHANGING SCREEN SAVER SETTINGS
  93.    ------------------------------
  94.  
  95.   To change setting, go to the Screen Saver tab in the Display dialog
  96.   box (follow steps above).
  97.  
  98.     Password : If you want to password protect your computer, then
  99.                make sure that "Password protected" option is selected.
  100.  
  101.                NOTE : If you have not yet set your password, then you
  102.                must set it now or else the password protection will
  103.                not work correctly.
  104.  
  105.     To change other settings, click on the "Settings" button.
  106.  
  107.     Here you can change the duration of the delay between quotations.
  108.     The duration may range from 5 seconds to 30 seconds.
  109.  
  110.     Font : You can change the font to any font that is available on
  111.            your system.  Some fonts will be better than others so
  112.            go ahead and do some experimenting.
  113.  
  114.     Font Appearance : You can also change the font size and whether
  115.                       the quotations will be BOLD or ITALICIZED.

  121.    To uninstall, click on the "Add/Remove Program" icon in the control
  122.    panel and select "TPCN Ultimate Quotations Screen Saver".

  128.    - Version 1.04 - July 10, 1997
  129.        * Some people were still having problems with quotations going
  130.          off screen.  This should now be fixed for any font size.

  134.        * Simplified installation procedure. After a successful install,
  135.          the setup program will now take you to the Display dialog
  136.          box directly.

  138.    - Version 1.01 - June 28, 1997

  140.        * Some people were having problems when choosing very large
  141.          font size and having the quotations displayed improperly
  142.          (part of the quote was off screen or strange flickering).
  143.          This is now fixed as the the screen saver will automatically
  144.          reduce the font size ensuring that quotation is now fully
  145.          displayed on the monitor.
