  5. Hi, thanks for downloading the Phantastic Screensaver !

  7. The  Phantastic  Screensaver  is  a  compilation  of *7* nice
  8. screensaver-types I liked most during the last years,
  9. so I started programming them in *BORLAND DELPHI*  by myself.
  10. You'll find 
  11. - Moving pictures (highly configurable, currently supports
  12.   .JPG-, *.BMP-,*.WMF and *.ICO-images
  13.   (freeware version limited to 2 files).
  14. - a Fader (wipes out the screen in 4 directions).
  15. - a Fractal Painter
  16. - a "Rain simulator" (8 different modes)
  17. - a Screen Blender (smoothing between 2 selectable colors)
  18. - "crazy Balls"
  19. - "funky Clock"

  21. I welcome any feedback you may wish to provide that will help
  22. me to make the  Phantastic Screensaver  a truly  entertaining

  48. You'll get an enhanced Version of the Screensaver by email after
  49. registering by paying USD 6,-. Please contact me if you'd like
  50. to register or send me an international cheque. If I could decide,
  51. I'd prefer CASH by snail-mail.

  54. (if your browser doesn't support secure transactions, just replace

  56. AFTER DEC.97 registration will cost USD 10,-.
  57. However, you may use the shareware-version as long and on as
  58. many computers you like.

  60. INSTALLATION ..is easy:
  61. -----------------------------------------------------------------
  62. 1) just copy PHANTAST.SCR and PHANTAST.INI into your windows
  63.    directory.
  64. 2) Right click on the Win '95 desktop and select "properties".
  65. 3) Select "Screen Saver" and choose "Phantast" as your
  66.    screensaver.
  67. 4) Click "Setup" to open the Configuration window of the saver.
  68. 5) Select the tab of the screensaver-type you desire and change
  69.    it to a configuration you like.  *)
  70. 6) Save the configuration.
  71. *) For configuring the .INI-Option of the picture-saver,
  72.    you'll have to edit PHANTAST.INI, further explanations
  73.    are given inside this file.

  75. HINT: You should configure Windows95 for enabling the maximum
  76.       colors your System supports (eq True Color). Then you'll
  77.       get the greatest results with Phantastic Screensaver.

  124. KNOWN PROBLEMS:

  126. - configured values for fractal axes aren't handled properly in
  127.   some cases. I'm not sure about the correct "translation" into
  128.   other numeric formats (e.q. decimal separator "." instead of 
  129.   "," like here in Austria). Please tell me if configured values
  130.   aren't calculated properly in your country.
