- Purpose: The Yello list is for discussion of the Swiss electronic band
- Yello. Beginning as an avant-garde New Wave experiment on Ralph
- Records around 1980, Yello continue to evolve to this day, generally
- producing rhythmic pop songs with long instrumental passages and
- complex percussion arrangements with strong Latin influences. Although
- often overlooked in techno articles, Yello has been very influential
- and often way ahead of their time in the realm of electronic dance
- music. They now run their own techno label, Solid Pleasure Records,
- and have a new album in the pipes for early 1994.

- undergoing standardization. ZForum provides a convenient forum
