  4. Science Fiction magazine published some of the
  5. most eagerly awaited stories of the decade. The
  6. author was Rene Lafayetts and he told of the
  7. fantastic adventures of a 700-year-old Soldier of
  8. Light, Ole Doc Methuselah, and his four armed,
  9. gypsum-eating companion, hippocrates, as they
  10. traveled throughout the galaxy performing medical
  11. miracles (including rescuing fair maidens, getting
  12. involved in local politics and even having time for a
  13. spot of fishing on the side.) In fact, Rene Lafayette
  14. was just one of many pen-names of the renowned
  15. master of science fiction, L. Ron Hubbard - and
