  1. The largest suppliers of residential accommodation are the
  2. smaller, often modern, hotels and guest houses. Luxurious and
  3. large hotel complexes mostly lie outside the city centre. On
  4. the larger islands you will find more and more small, modern
  5. apartment buildings in traditional style. The six classes of
  6. hotel are indicated by a letter: the 'L' (for luxury hotels)
  7. and then from 'A' to 'E' (for the simplest hotels). The
  8. seventh class is for village hotels. Classifications are also
  9. indicated with stars. All over the country, private persons
  10. offer rooms to let. On the smaller islands, this is often the
  11. only way to stay overnight. Reservation is advisable, perhaps
  12. essential, especially in the high season. Camping is only
  13. allowed on camping grounds.
