  9.       tftopl - convert font    metric (tfm) files to property list

  13.       tftopl tfm_file_name pl_file_name

  15.      DESCRIPTION
  16.       The tftopl program translates    a (program-oriented) font
  17.       metric file to a (human-oriented) property list file.     Thus,
  18.       you can edit the contents of the TFM files, if the font
  19.       designer has not done    his or her job properly, or if you're
  20.       encountering strange difficulties, or    if you're just
  21.       curious.  It also serves as a    TFM-file validating
  22.       program,i.e.,    if no error messages are given,    the input file
  23.       is correct.

  25.       Both the tfm_file_name and the pl_file_name must be
  26.       complete. No adding of default extensions or path searching
  27.       is done.
