  9.      pgmoil - turn a portable graymap into an oil painting

  11. SYNOPSIS
  12.      pgmoil [-n _✓N] [_✓p_✓g_✓m_✓f_✓i_✓l_✓e]

  14. DESCRIPTION
  15.      Reads a portable graymap as input.  Does an "oil  transfer",
  16.      and writes a portable graymap as output.
  17.  
  18.      The oil transfer is described  in  "Beyond  Photography"  by
  19.      Holzmann,  chapter  4,  photo  7.   It's a sort of localized
  20.      smearing.

  22. OPTIONS
  23.      The optional -n flag controls the size of the area  smeared.
  24.      The default value is 3.

  26. BUGS
  27.      Takes a long time to run.
