- DRIVE SAVER
-
- ===============================================================================
-
- DriveSaver is written for all those who have an autobooting hard disk. The way
- autobooting works is: when the computer is first turned on it looks for a disk
- in drive A:. If there is no disk in drive A: it times out after 40 seconds or
- so and then looks at drive C: if a hard disk is attached. This works pretty
- much the same way is it does on most IBM systems. There is only one
- difference: the Atari does not turn off the drive after timing out. It will
- continue running untill a disk is inserted into drive A:. My program turns off
- the drive -- in my case I wrote it more because I hate seeing the busy light
- on!!
-
- DriveSaver should be copied to the AUTO folder on drive C:. This program is
- only of any practical use to those with an autobooting hard disk.
