  1. This is patchlevel 35 of the MiNT library.

  3. As usual, it contains a large number of patches I haven't tested at all.
  4. You're on your own.  Good luck.

  6. Sorry about the long delay and the lack of testing...I got caught up in
  7. other things and when I got back to working on the library a large number of
  8. patches had accumulated.  I'll try to keep the updates smaller in the future
  9. so things don't get as messed up [I keep saying that, don't I?]

  13. Notes about the patches:
  14.  
  15. Before applying these patches, please strip carriage returns from all files
  16. in the lattice/ subdirectory.
  17.  
  18. Please apply these patches with "patch -p0", as files in subdirectories have
  19. been changed.  The enclosed sync.c should go in the sources directory.
  20.  
  21. I've applied most but not all patches I've received up to this point.  The
  22. nlist stuff isn't in this distribution, but will be in PL36.  The same for
  23. the ANI wc* and mb* functions I received.
  24.  
  25. The following things I received will *not* be applied unless I receive
  26. updated patches from the authors, relative to PL35:
  27.  
  28. - andreas's patches to findfile(), making it not search the current dir
  29. first.
  30.  
  31. - andreas's patches to *.*, removing interdependencies:  if you can feed
  32. these to me a few at a time, they're more likely to get put into the
  33. library.  Some of those interdependencies are there with good reason,
  34. usually for compatibility with TOS.  I didn't want to hold up this
  35. patchlevel to sort through each of these, and many of them are now out of
  36. sync with PL 35.  Sorry...

  38. - dba@jet.uk's POSIX errno stuff -- it was sent as a replacement file instead
  39. of a context diff, without a summary of changes, and I didn't have the time
  40. nor the inclination to figure out if it was useful.

  42. - Leif's patches to remove dead assignments.  I didn't get a chance to look
  43. at these yet.
  44.  
  45. Anything that isn't in PL35 or mentioned above was either rejected or lost;
  46. please mail me if you sent something you think should have been included but
  47. wasn't.
