  12. Red Shark Technology Releases New Version
  13. of Nymbus (TM) Multimedia Tool Suite
  14.     
  15. Somerville, MA, May 13, 1993 -- Red Shark Technology Corporation has 
  16. released a 32 bit version, V1.1, of the Nymbus Multimedia Tool Suite.  
  17. The Nymbus Tool Suite is a set of DVI application development tools 
  18. for OS/2.
  19.  
  20. The Red Shark tools provide real-time capturing, non-linear editing,
  21. indexing, cataloging, and playback of digital audio (PCM8, ADPCM4E), 
  22. full motion digital video (RTV, PLV), and PM Metafile Graphics.  These 
  23. media can be combined into synchronized Presentations that can be 
  24. integrated into other applications via a standard DLL API, or via  
  25. MMPM/2.  The Red Shark Tools are designed to work in standalone, 
  26. networked, or groupware environments.  Finally, The Nymbus Tool Suite 
  27. is integrated "right out of the box" with Lotus Notes, enabling 
  28. multimedia email on a LAN.

  30. Version 1.1 of the Nymbus Tool Suite requires an IBM OS/2 2.X platform 
  31. with an Intel ActionMedia II display adapter and capture option 
  32. (necessary for capture).

  34. The Tool Suite retails for $1,495 U.S..  
  35. The Standalone Nymbus MCI Player is also available for $200 U.S..
