Transcription: The Lunar Module, also referred to as the LEM, is a two-stage vehicle designed for space operations near and on the Moon. The LEM is incapable of re-entering the Earth's atmosphere. The LEM is 22 feet tall, 33 feet wide, and weighs just under 40,000 pounds when fully loaded. The ascent stage has five substructural areas.
