To the west of the old harbor, which is swampland today, is the granarium, or grain storage building. Donated by Roman Emperor @Hadrian,@ it was an octagonal structure and was once decorated with statues. Today only the pedestals are still visible on the door and the interior of the edifice is covered by weeds.
