Despite a fairly high amount of construction in the area, the old and attractive wooden @bay windowed@ houses with flowers blossoming from windows and balconies still manage to maintain the original flavor of a Mediterranean village. The majority of these old houses have been turned into gift shops and cozy cafes and bars.
