Computers do NOT operate like the
human brain. This is obvious to anyone
who has ever used Windows 98! The
microprocessor is a single "engine"
that switches switches. The rest is
simply a clever use of codes and
electonics -- with the cleverness
being entirely human.
But, a computer can emulate the
workings of a human brain, allbeit on
a very, very tiny scale. This is
exactly what John Walker's Neural
Network program does with your C-64.
You will want to look carefully at
the Read It for Neural Net Doc, and
take look at the three illustrations
in the Run It. Then run the Run It for
Neural Net (this item on the menu).
Anyone who can cogently explain
exactly HOW this thing works should
write it up and send it to me. I still
don't understand!
