  1. You are standing in a tavern with       creaky wooden floors. Candles flicker   atop tables with wooden holders. There  are several people here.
  2. You are standing on main street. Severalroads cut across this muddy path. A shopis to the east while the path continues south from here.
  3. You are standing in a shop. Commands    here include 'buy <item>' 'sell <item>' and 'list'. There is a small wooden     sign above the doorway.
  4. You are standing inside a room straight out of the 1930's! A coat rack rests in the corner of the room while a large   table is visible nearby.
  5. You are walking down main street. This  path heads south past a large court-    yard. A church is east and a guild      west.
  6. You are standing inside a large cath-   edral. The large stained glass windows  give a feeling of soaring height. An    altar lies north of here.
  7. You are standing in front of a large    altar. You notice a few items strewn    haphazardly across the fold. There is   a staircase nearby.
  8. You are standing in a small storage     room. This room is used for storage pur-poses. A few items lay scattered about  but nothing really useful.
  9. You are walking down a dark staircase.  The air feels damp and quite cold here. The only exit is back up.
  10. You are standing inside a large guild.  A white flag with an emblazoned star    on it hangs overhead. A fireplace is    also here (with a mantle).
  11. You are descending a narrow staircase   just below the cathedral. A pair of     candlesticks burns softly on either     wall. A doorway is here.
  12. You have reached an underground cham-   ber beneath the cathedral. You can fai- ntly hear the sound of rushing water    nearby.
  13. You have reached the center of this     underground chamber. It feels damp and  quite cold here! You notice a strange   tablet to the north.
  14. You are facing a stone tablet. Upon     the tablet are inscriptions of which    you are unable to make out. Just beyond it lies a small door.
  15. You are standing in a large courtyard.  An impressive stone fountain pours      water into a motted basin below. The    path continues south.
  16. You are standing inside a small cot-    ttage. Simple furniture adorns the room while a fire burns in a fireplace near- by. A bed is also here.
  17. You are walking past a narrow archway.  Vines grow steadfast to the concrete    walls of either pillar. A path winds    south past a large forest.
  18. You are walking down a small path near  a large forest. Light filters down from the canopy above while clouds roll  gen-tly by in the near distance.
  19. You have reached an intersection. The   road forks in all directions here. To   the south lies a decayed forest while   east of here is another path.
  20. You are walking across a long hillside. Grass grows near your ankles while flo- wers are visible by the side of the     road here. A tavern is south.
  21. You are walking across a hillside. To   the east lies a stone building with     several people congregating outside.    There is a sign nearby.
  22. You are standing inside a large bath-   house. You notice large stone pillars   rising towards the ceiling while a  lar-ge bath rests in the center.
  23. You are wading knee deep in water just  below the sluice. This device appears   to shuttle water in and out of various  drains. The only exit is up.
  24. You are facing a large booth. The roman carnival is in town and a carny is      here taking tickets. Perhaps you could  sneak in...?
  25. You are walking on an eastern path that winds through a thick forest. The trees become less dense to the west. There is a smaller trail north.
  26. You are standing in a small clearing.   The area is devoid of trees or animal   life of any kind. The sky is a crystal  blue here.
  27. You are standing on a grassy hillside.  There are several patches of flowers    growing here and bees are plentiful.    The hill slopes to the north.
  28. You are standing on a steep hillside.   There is a tree stump here carved from  the remnants of a long dead tree.
  29. You are walking down a well-lit path    in the middle of the forest. There is a small cottage here. Smoke billows from  a chimney on the roof.
  30. You are standing inside a small house.  A fireplace (complete with a wooden man-tle) rests in a corner of the room. A   small bed is also here.
  31. You are walking in a dark forest. There is very little light here and the air   seems rather warm. The forest continues east here.
  32. You are walking in a forest. You notice a small lake just up ahead. Beyond the  lake grows a tall Redwood forest.
  33. You are standing by a small lake. The   water shimmers oddly in the sunlight    as if magical in nature. The air is whi-sper silent here.
  34. You are standing in a large forest. The air is quite still here but you also    notice a strange buzzing sound nearby.  A small shed lies to the east.
  35. You are standing in an abandoned tool-  shed. A few tools rests upon wooden she-lves but nothing extraordinary is here. A small garden is north.
  36. You are outside in a small garden. Sev- eral flowers grow here while a tall     olive tree hangs weary branches over-   head. A fountain is also here.
  37. You are facing a large olive tree. The  leaves are a tad brown but the branch-  es look healthy. There are some words   carved into the tree.
  38. You are inside a small hut atop the     tree. Some tables and chairs rest insidewhile a small window looks into the     garden below.
  39. You are walking down a winding road     just east of an intersection. The road  curves sharply west of here past  maje- stic mountains.
  40. You have reached a fork in the road     here. A small bridge crosses over a     large river. The water is swift and lo- oks quite dangerous.
  41. You are walking across a narrow bridge. Water rushes rapidly beneath your feet. Up ahead is a small bronze statue.
  42. You are facing a bronze statue. The     likeness appears to be that of the late King Eric of Guilder. Upon the statue   rests a small lever.
  43. You are walking in a decayed forest. Thetrees have been burnt by a terrible     fire recently. Ashes lay upon the groundlike the dirt around them.
  44. You are walking in a decayed forest.    There is very little sunlight hre and   the air feels rather warm. The forest   continues east and south.
  45. You are standing in a burnt forest. The trees are blackened with soot and char- red beyond recognition. A path heads    east and west from here.
  46. You are walking along in a burnt for-   est. A few signs of wildlife exist, but not too many. The forest opens up into  a larger one to the south.
  47. You are standing in a decaying forest.  Up ahead lies a tall Redwood Forest. Thetrees rise hundreds of feet into the    air.

  49. You are standing on a grassy hillside.  The hill slopes downward here into a    small valley below. Farms are visible   to the southeast.
  50. You are walking down a steep hillside.  There are mountains to the east and a   few farms are visible some seventy feet below.
  51. You are on the downward slope of a steephill. A path is just below leading into farmland nearby. You could climb the    hill but it looks risky...
  52. You are standing before a small farm.   Several rows of corn and wheat grow in  fields nearby. A barn lies directly     east of here.
  53. You are standing inside a large barn.   Wooden stables lie on either side while beams of wood tower above you. You also notice bails of hay here.
  54. The road ends here near a long picket   fence. Apparently grazing land is south because several cows chew on grass      nearby. Oh well...
  55. You are walking on a winding road that  cuts across majestic purple mountains.  There is a rocky path here which heads  into a narrow pass above.
  56. You are walking across a narrow pass    on a purple mountainside. The going is  tough but you think you'll make it. To  the west lies a small cave.
  57. You are facing a large cave. The air is quite damp and cool and there is very   little light here. You'll need some sortof light inside the cave.
  58. You have reached the limits of this     mountainside. The going is far too steepand dangerous for further travel north.
  59. You are standing in a dark cave. Twist- ing passageways head off in all direc-  tions here. The main passageway is northof here.
