STILL MORE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

I just lost everything I wrote. All
of the sudden the cursor was at the
bottom and the screen said error and
ready.

What do you think of using both
sides of a single-sided disk as I am
right now. Your survey is on the
other side of this disk. I have been
using these disks on both the
Commodore and the IBM PC (which I use
at work). I have not had any problems
although the company I work for said
it would not work.

This is the second time I have
had to return a Loadstar disk because
of a defect. As with my copy of Issue
#15, the first side will NOT load.
I am returning the defective disk
for replacement. I'd like to know if
any of my fellow Loadstar subscribers
have had this problem with issues 15
and 16. I would also be curious as to
a possible cause.

On Loadstar 14 you have a program
called "WRITE GUARD". It guards my
disks very nicely...but I can't get
it to unguard. It is not a major
problem since I only guard my working
scratch disks and other disks that I
temporarily want to safeguard. If it
works, it will save my covering my
notches for myself, and save blowing
up a disk I give to others.

I have the following: MSD SD-2,
Quicksilver, two 1541's, and the Mach
5 cartidge.
MSD and Quicksilver doesn't work.
MSD on serial port, ditto.
1541 on serial port, ditto.
1541 and Mach5, ditto.

I have received your Chameleon.
What I am unhappy about is that I
have Flexidraw 5.0! Do you have plans
to upgrade Chameleon to include 5.0
capability?

Recommendation: Instead of an
Insert and Delete line capability, it
would be super if you could change it
to Insert and Delete words (even with
a max of, say, 40 characters/spaces).

I have a number of sequential text
editors and word processors. Can I
set up your disk, but then write on
my own editors, and save it
sequentially on your formatted disk?
