  2.         SURVEY INSTRUCTIONS

  6.   Everything is done with your C-64.
  7.  
  8. Press the "\" key when at the end of
  9.  
  10. any of the articles about the survey.
  11.  
  12. You'll get another five-part menu.
  13.  
  14. Choose one of the four survey
  15.  
  16. sections.  You'll be prompted to
  17.  
  18. put a data disk in your disk drive.
  19.  
  20. You should use a scratch disk because
  21.  
  22. we're going to format it for you.
  23.  
  24. You'll lose everything that's on it.
  25.  
  26.   From that point on, the survey
  27.  
  28. program will prompt you on when to
  29.  
  30. change disks.  Brief instructions are
  31.  
  32. on the screen at all times; here's a
  33.  
  34. fuller look at them:

  37.   1.  Select an answer by using the
  38.  
  39. cursor control keys (arrows) to move
  40.  
  41. the cursor to your answer.  Hit the
  42.  
  43. space bar to register the selection.
  44.  
  45. Some questions allow more than one
  46.  
  47. answer; repeat the selection process
  48.  
  49. for each appropriate answer.
  50.  
  51.   2.  RETURN moves you to the next
  52.  
  53. question.  It's okay to skip questions
  54.  
  55. by pressing RETURN without answering.
  56.  
  57.   3.  The left arrow key "_" backs
  58.  
  59. you up to the previous question.
  60.  
  61.   4.  CONTROL-G quits the survey.  Be
  62.  
  63. sure to use this exit method so that
  64.  
  65. your answers will be saved to the
  66.  
  67. data disk.
  68.  
  69.   5.  The survey loops back to the
  70.  
  71. first question after you answer the
  72.  
  73. last question.  If you think you've
  74.  
  75. seen this question before, you're
  76.  
  77. right.

  79.   6.  Fill-in-the-blank questions are
  80.  
  81. answered by pressing the space bar to
  82.  
  83. move the cursor to the start of the
  84.  
  85. entry area.  Press RETURN after each
  86.  
  87. line you enter.  Pressing RETURN on a
  88.  
  89. blank line ends your answer.
  90.  
  91.   7.  You can review and change your
  92.  
  93. answers by using the RETURN key to
  94.  
  95. step through the questions.

  97.   8.  Because your answers are saved
  98.  
  99. to disk when you quit with CONTROL-G,

  101. you can quit the survey at any time

  103. and return to it later.

  105.   9.  Have fun, and remember--you may

  107. be earning 20 double-sided disks!
