SPRITECAT
Sprite Catalog
Written by: Andy Gamble
PowerPlay, March 1985
Page 55
SPRITECAT allows you to maintain
a disk full of sprites for editing,
and saving. You can choose from many
options when creating or editing a
sprite, such as multi-color,
expansion, and hard-copy. The program
even gives you the numbers to use in
your DATA statements when using the
sprites in your own programs.
The sprites created with SPRITECAT
are saved as sequential files. You
may also READ in these files to use in
your own programs. For more on this,
see PowerPlay, March 1985.
Here are some instructions:
H -- HELP!!
N -- enter new sprite data
(Just type the 63
numbers needed to
define a sprite.)
X/Y -- expand in either X or
Y direction
S -- SAVE to disk
D -- view directory
L -- LOAD a sprite
P -- PRINT a sprite on the
printer
Q -- Quit the program
M -- chooses multi-color
This option brings up
many other options.
These are as follows:
C -- change sprite color
B -- change background color
0 <zero> -- multi-color #1
1 <one> -- multi-color #2
R -- return to main menu
Also included with this program is
a sample sprite. The name of this
sprite is UMBRELLA. You can LOAD this
sprite for an idea on how to use this
program.
