When searching for the right magazines
you need to consider a few things.
First, there are many, many good
all-purpose computer magazines on the
market. These cover practically every
aspect of the computer world, and are
good for this purpose. And, then
there are the machine-specific
magazines, several being for the
Commodore line of computers. A few in
this category are some of the best of
all computer magazines on market. You
can acquire a full library of high-
guality programs and useful articles
from these magazines.
The second thing to consider when
buying, is the level of information
you need. If you are a beginner or
mediocre computer user, then
Compute!'s Gazette is perfect for you.
But, if on the other hand, you are a
true hacker, a copy of Micro might
better suit you.
No matter what you are after, keep in
mind that just because a magazine has
a nice cover, it could still contain
just garbage on the inside.

in this article, except as a

as far as I know, but if a title was
left off, it is due to my lack of
knowledge of it. This is a revision
