  173. First, there are many, many good

  175. all-purpose computer magazines on the

  177. market.  These cover practically every
  178.  
  179. aspect of the computer world, and are
  180.  
  181. good for this purpose.  And, then
  182.  
  183. there are the machine-specific
  184.  
  185. magazines, several being for the
  186.  
  187. Commodore line of computers.  A few in
  188.  
  189. this category are some of the best of
  190.  
  191. all computer magazines on market.  You
  192.  
  193. can acquire a full library of high-
  194.  
  195. guality programs and useful articles
  196.  
  197. from these magazines.

  199. The second thing to consider when
  200.  
  201. buying, is the level of information
  202.  
  203. you need.  If you are a beginner or
  204.  
  205. mediocre computer user, then
  206.  
  207. Compute!'s Gazette is perfect for you.
  208.  
  209. But, if on the other hand, you are a
  210.  
  211. true hacker, a copy of Micro might
  212.  
  213. better suit you.

  215. No matter what you are after, keep in

  217. mind that just because a magazine has
  218.  
  219. a nice cover, it could still contain
  220.  
  221. just garbage on the inside.
