- Insert the CD-ROM into the drive.

- Windows 3.1 Installation
- Launch Windows. In the Program Manager, select "Run"
- from the "File" Menu. Enter "D:\SETUP31" where D is
- the letter of your CD-ROM drive. Follow any on-screen
- instructions.

- The setup program will create a program group entitled
- "ZooGuide". Double-click the Whales icon
- to run the program. To exit the program at any time,
- hit the Escape key. You can also click on the Exit
- button in any of the chapters.

- IMPORTANT
-
- IF YOU DO NOT HAVE QUICKTIME FOR WINDOWS INSTALLED ON
- YOU COMPUTER, RUN THE QUICKTIME INSTALLER "QTINSTAL"
- ON THE CD-ROM DISK.

- DO NOT RUN THE "QT32INST" INSTALLER IF YOU DO NOT HAVE
- WINDOWS 95

- This product uses Director Player for Windows.
- In the past, this product has been known to create
- problems with certain video cards - such problems
- include video appearing at strange places on the
- screen, or other program errors.
-
- If you have problems try the following
-
- (1) If your computer has thousands or millions of
- colors, run in one of these modes rather than 256
- colors. This may cure the problem
-
- (2) Sometimes the problem can be cured by changing your
- video driver to the generic 'SuperVGA 640 x 480'
- video driver usually provided with Windows. You can
- do this by running the Windows Setup utility, usually
- found in the 'Main' program group in Windows 3.1 or
- under the 'Settings' option on the 'Start' button in
- Windows 95

- (3) You may have an outdated version of your display
- driver software. Please contact the manufacturer of your
- video card for recent driver software.
