KANI.zip contains original animated cursors (and a few static ones) that I created with my children in mind. I searched the Internet for animated cursors suitable for children and found none, thus KANI.zip was born. If you use my cursors and you and your children enjoy them I would appreciate a $5.00 registration fee. If I get a good response I will make more children's animated cursors.
To use: You must have Windows 95 to use these. Most are too detailed to use in place of the regular pointer, but we have found that they work great to replace the hourglass or "wait" pointer. If you would like to replace the normal pointer with these they each have the "hotspot" set at the uppermost left corner.
To install: Copy the zip file into the windows/cursors directory. Expand the file. Go to control panel. Double click on mouse. Now you can click on the "pointers" tab. Simply click on the pointer you would like to replace and hit browse. Choose your cursor. You will be able to preview each of them before you pick one. Enjoy!!
