  4. Installation
  5. ============

  7. After decompressing this package it is ready to use. Only start
  8. XiPrefs for selecting the output-device.
  9.  
  10. If you have troubles in selecting the right driver, or xipaint
  11. says, that he couldn't open a screen, so please copy all libraries
  12. from the local libs-Directory to libs: and try it once more.
  13.  
  14. Please note, that there is no multipic.library in this package
  15. included. If you have one, you can use it; else, only IFF-Deep-Format
  16. is supported.
  17.  
  18. To select an other format then IFF-DEEP, please open the "System-Notebook"
  19. and change the driver in the folder "Load" and "Save".

  22. Limitations
  23. ===========
  24.  
  25. This demoversion has all features as the full-version - except you can
  26. only handle pictures smaller than 200x200 pixels. Also the picture
  27. will be sometimes destroyed.
  28.  
  29. This version has only some minimal modules, no wacom-modules etc. This,
  30. the manual, the development-package and many more things are on the
  31. XiPaint CD!
