  1. 3D Model Mech Kit Text.....

  3. Well, it looks like you have the Amiga copy of the Mech Kit Demo package...
  4.  
  5. It should include all model pieces to make up the robot seen in the .gif
  6. called DemoMech.gif.... this gif should be included in this package and can
  7. also be found in the alt.binaries groups...
  8.  
  9. Looking at the DemoMech.gif it should be straight foward how to put it
  10. together but here's how I do it.... The base1 is the center I use...
  11. Then the thighs attach to it and the calves to the thighs etc. With the
  12. upperbody, the body attaches to base, the torso to the body and shoulders to
  13. the torso... The turret also goes onto the torso.... Once done it should
  14. look like the picture... also included are Maps to aid in your render...
  15. there should be four...

  17. Of course the pieces are designed to snap right in place in Imagine or
  18. Lightwave...

  20. The Mech Kit is a system of carefully designed 3D model pieces for use with
  21. your favorite 3D modelling and rendering software... The pieces can be
  22. combined to form different Mechs.... add to that different texture mapping
  23. styles and weapons you can great number of possibilities....

  25. If you downloaded this for use with Real3D, you will need to get the TDDD to
  26. Real3D converter from any Aminet site...

  28. If you needed the Autocadd (.dxf) version, look for it outside Aminet
  29. or e-mail anime@primenet.com for info..... The Lightwave version
  30. models will also work with Unix and WindowsNT Lightwave....
