  6. Here is a list of commands you can use with Mailserver. You will notice that
  7. some commands have synonyms. In this case, you can use whichever synonym
  8. you like.
  9.  
  10. DIR [directory]    Send a directory listing.
  11. LIST [directory]
  12.  
  13. CD directory       Change the current directory.
  14. CHDIR directory
  15.  
  16. GET filename       Have the file 'filename' in the current directory
  17. SEND filename      ent to you by e-mail.
  18.  
  19. PARENT             Move to the parent directory of the current
  20. CDUP               directory.
  21.  
  22. ROOT               Move to the root directory.
  23.  
  24. HELP               Send this file
  25.  
  26. QUIT               Do not accept any more commands.

  29. Feel free to GET any of the files in the public directories..
  30.  
  31. Some Notes:
  32.  
  33. o  Mailserver does not support any form of wildcards in filenames.
  34. o  You can only get files from the Mailserver's public directories.
  35. o  Binary files will automatically be uuencoded before being sent.
  36.    They will therefore increase slightly in size when sent. Files are
  37.    never split.
  38. o  If you include Reply-To: line in the header of your message, files
  39.    will be sent to the specified address. The confirmation slip sent
  40.    with the files will contain the address of the person who requested it.
  41. o  Some files may have a filenote attached to them.
  42. o  All commands are logged.
  43. o  Address all comands to mailserver@dynamo.demon.co.uk
  44. o  Address any comments or suggestions to dom@dynamo.demon.co.uk
  45. o  .info files are Amiga Workbench (TM) Icon files, and will probably
  46.    be of no use to non Amiga users.
