- Installation Outline:
- ---------------------
- To install Ring*Back, transfer the contents of this archive to the DOS
- Directory you wish to use. ("Ringback.Exe" may be place in any directory
- defined in your Dos Path.)

- VERY IMPORTANT!!!:
- Verify that each line in the ASCii file "Ringback.Cfg" is configured for your
- system. See "Ringback.Doc" for line-by-line instructions.

- Modify the file "Bbsbatch.Bat" (as required) to load your BBS software.

- Modify or delete the file "Ringback.Evt" according to your Event Schedule
- requirements. See "Ringback.Doc" for details.

- Make sure that your modem is connected and turned ON and that you are
- addressing the correct "COM" port ("com1" or "com2" only) as defined in
- "Ringback.Cfg".

- Once you are certain that the all is correct, type "Start" at the DOS prompt
- and Ring*Back will activate.

- The batch files "Start.Bat" and "Bbsbatch.Bat" provide ample illustration on
- how to load Ring*Back and interface it with your BBS. The batch file
- "Bbsdown.Bat" illustrates how to use Ring*Back in "Stand-alone" mode. The
- batch files: "Day.Bat", "Nite.Bat", "Bbs1.Bat" and "Bbs2.Bat" illustrate how
- to switch between "Direct" and "Ring-Back" operations modes either manually or
- via "Event Schedules".

- The ASCii file "Banner.Bbs" may be modified to taste or deleted.
