  25.     Qmodem,  Copyright 1984,89  by The Forbin Project, Inc.,  is another popular 
  26. shareware  terminal  program.  Although one is assured that  the  Qmodem  Script 
  27. Command "SYSTEM"  unconditionally quits the script and exits to the system  this 
  28. is NOT the case if you happen to be in the HOST mode. Therefore we must approach 
  29. using FAXCTRL in a different manner than we did with ProComm.

  31.     We  do not intend to give a tutorial on how to use,  setup,  or operate  the 
  32. HOST mode under Qmodem.  We believe that the author(s) did that very well in the 
  33. instructions provided with Qmodem.  Therefore,  we will only demonstrate how  to 
  34. interface FAXCTRL with Qmodem's HOST mode.

  36.     Copy  the enclosed Qmodem script file to the place where Qmodem's HOST  mode 
  37. can find it.  That is, so that it can be executed with the "O"  option.  To make 
  38. FAXCTRL  active you will have to call in remotely and execute the  "O"   option. 
  39. This will hangup the phone line then execute FACTRL. This is also how you should 
  40. hangup instead of using "G".  (Local login with the  "O"  option doesn't seem to 
  41. return to the host mode properly.

  43.     If you have found a way to make Qmodem exit to DOS (not SHELL) from the HOST 
  44. mode,   let us know!  You might be able to earn a free licensed copy of  FAXCTL!
