  1. This archive contains two ZIP archives and this readme.  The two archives
  2. are for use with the different versions of AdLib.  Those of you using
  3. versions prior to 1.5 should dearchive the file INS.ZIP.  This has the
  4. instruments in .INS format.

  6. Those of you using versions 1.5 and later, dearchive the file BANK.ZIP.
  7. This has the instruments in a .BNK format.
  8.  
  9. Each of these archived files contains all of the standard instruments plus
  10. a great many others.  .BNK users can feel free to rename this .BNK file
  11. to STANDARD.BNK without fear of loosing any of the standard instruments...
  12. they are all contained in this file.

  14. Those of you who will dearchive the file INS.ZIP, be certain not to
  15. UNZIP this in the root directory of your disk as the root directory can only
  16. contain 112 files and there are about 190 .INS files in this archive.  Create
  17. a sub-directory and UNZIP it there.  (Sub-Directories can have an unlimited
  18. number of files.)
