-=- MODule Instrument Ripper v1.0 -=-
- By Daredevil Of Renaissance -
┌──────────────┐
│ Introduction │
└──────────────┘
Well, This is a pretty straight forward program... It will steal all of the
digital instruments out of an Amiga MOD file for use with Composer-669 or almost
any other program which uses pure digital samples. Just run MODRIP.EXE with the
MODule name on the command line.
For example: MODRIP CRAZYTRN.MOD
That will steal all of the instruments from CRAZYTRN.MOD and place them
in files called CRAZYTRN.001 ---> CRAZYTRN.031 depending on the number of usable
samples in the MODule.

│ Problems │
└──────────┘
This program has been tested with 15 and 31 instrument MODules and it has
worked perfectly. I cannot guarantee that it will work on every single MODule
out there because not all MODs themselves perfectly conform to the MOD format.
I have noticed that some MODules in which BBS advertisements have been placed
don't always work because sometimes a small bit of the sample information gets
erased by a sample name which is too long. The other problem is with MODules
which have been converted from STM files using STM To MOD. Those MODules are
not correct and sometimes the samples will gain a small click at the end. Not
too bad, but enough that you would notice. Other than these minor differences
in MODules, this program has been tested to be bug-free (I Hope! ;-)). Enjoy
it and let me know of any future additions to this program that I should make.
