  6. Well here it is!  My first upgrade in the polyphonic music programs and
  7. C language routines.  What is so excting is the new discoveries I've made
  8. in the PC three voice world!  I'm very enthusiastic about the new, improved
  9. playing routines included in this package.  These routines should set a
  10. standard for three voice music since they have the highest quality I've
  11. seen anywhere on the PC market!  I feel this package is the most powerful
  12. music package you can own without purchasing extra hardware (like MIDI cards,
  13. or sound digitizers and samplers).

  19. To get going quick, run the following programs:
  20.     TIMECHK.EXE to get the appropriate Polyphonic Tempo value for your
  21.             computer
  22.  then run:
  23.         MAKEPLAY <songname> <tempo value from TIMECHK>
  24.         
  25.         where <songname> =  blues     -> an experimental blues jam
  26.                     pachcan   -> simplified arragement of the
  27.                              Pachelbel Canon
  28.                     furelise  -> Beethoven's fur elise
  29.                     invent13  -> Bach's invention no. 13
  30.                     houseris  -> arpeggiated version of House of the
  31.                              Rising Sun
  32.                     stlouis   -> the St. Louis Blues by W. C. Handy
  33.                     rondocar  -> classical guitar Rondo by Carulli

  39. By the way, if you really want to have some fun, try playing some of the
  40. ".ply" files at ridiculously fast speeds (like 200 or less, 10 is really
  41. interesting). Running looppoly at these speeds sounds like you are 
  42. nearby some heavy machinery! (Type LOOPPOLY songname 10 <enter>)
